Jock, Geek, Poser, Freak, Names that mean nothing, Yet everything. They uplift us, They constrict us. They sometimes save us, Or they betray us. We’re all labeled For the way we’re portrayed. We we’re all young once, We played together, Now we hate each other. Deep down we love each other, On the surface we reject each other. I once trusted you all, Now I’m afraid to turn my back, For I might suddenly “fall.” Remember that time I fell out of the tree? You carried me home, Now I find myself walking alone. I have no room to talk, I forgot about Chelsea when She needed me most. I’d take it all back, Every mean word I’ve said, But I cant, None of us can. Even if we chose to reconcile, We’d still remember all our horrible trials. The good times have passed, The old are on the rise, But if its at all possible, I’d like to restart.

"Remember that time I fell out of the tree?" -i felt that this line disrupted the flow of the poem. i find it difficult to add questions into poems without throwing something off. i liked this poem though. there were some great ideas thrown in here that caught my attention.
sometimes the best thing to do is to forgive and forget.
