(doesnt relate to me)
“I Love you” It’s a phrase I say Day after day. My will is starting to Crumble with each false Word I say. I’m such a hypocrite, I’m judging the way People live their lives, When I’m living mine The same way. What happened to me? What day was it that I became the bitch I Swore I’d never be? I’m fake, I say that this is the Way I’ve always wanted To be. What happened to that Cute girly geek? Was my innocence Really worth having guys Bow down at my feet? I’ll say yes, Each time I’m asked, Because the geek I Once knew, was Knocked out And buried deep Underground.

very interesting. i'm really not quite sure what to think of this poem. if any central focus, it was being the person you never wanted to be. a manakin, so to speak, with you dwelling somewherei inside. it also seemed to have dealt with some sort of a loss of innocence. i found the 'i love you' as an example of false words and statements said very peculiar. it peaked my interest a bit. essentially, a job well done. deidre
